How it Works

Upload. Render. Download. Render Rocket's unique web-based 3D rendering system is designed by a team of artists and programmers with years of real-world industry experience. Here are the basics of what you'll need to get rendering…

You'll need a computer

You'll need a computer

We support Maya and Mawell source files from all desktop computer platforms (Mac, Windows, and Linux). You don’t need a local render farm, but it is best to make sure you can first get your frames running properly on your desktop. This will save you time and money in the long run.

An Internet connection

An Internet Connection

Most any broadband connection will work (DSL, Cable, T-1). Render Rocket supports all common web browsers (IE, Firefox, Safari) and files can be transferred via web or FTP. For large studios and longer term productions, we also have custom tools that assist in automatically synchronizing your files with our network.

Valid email account and credit card

Payment for rendering can be made via credit card (Visa/Mastercard/Amex). For other payment options, please contact us. Our “Mission Control” web system uses email to send you job status alerts and important account information.

Step 2. Launch new render

The “Launch Render” wizard will help you select frame ranges, camera, and other advanced settings. Once launched, the “Mission Detail” page gives you full control of your job and its individual frames.

As images complete, you can download files individually or click to download a ZIP or RAR package with all your output. That’s it. To try it yourself, sign up for a free trial.
